 I know Kaspar clarinet mouthpieces fetch a buck, but why is this particular tenor mouthpiece desirable? Isn't it just a stencil? Looks like a Sumner (which are highly underrated IMO) to me...

Some Kaspar clarinet mouthpieces are highly sought after.   So I'm guessing a couple of clarinet players who wanted a sax mouthpiece to match drove the price up.
