I just uploaded a bunch of Sax Journal articles relating to mouthpieces and refacing.  I started this 13 years ago with scans to jpg files.  I then let the rest sit until yesterday when I scanned them to pdf files.  Scanning was a lot more involved 13 years ago.
 

 There is a doc file of all the articles one of our group members put together 13 years ago.  I think I am missing a few of the early articles of interest.  There are a few missing from the list too that I uploaded.
 

 Most of the articles are by Ralph Morgan.  I have a love/hate relationship with them.   I loved that at least someone was willing to write about this craft.  But a lot of what he wrote as fact was opinion/misinformation that can cause grief.  He also failed to provide enough detail to be useful in most cases to those trying to learn this craft.

I hear you. Morgan seemed to have the odd talent of removing every interesting and exciting aspect/quality of a mpc's tone and making it play even and perfectly boring/bland. I've never played anything from him that made me or anyone listening, say "wow!". It's always like, "well that's plays ok". As Dom DeLuise's character said in "History of the World pt1": "Nice. Not thrilling, but nice"
