Mouthpiece Work / Link width

Some Otto Link mouthpieces are narrower than the reed. Are there any of the current STM, NY or Millennium that are not too narrow, - and that fits the width of the reed?

Some are, but unpredictably so. I used to order a bunch of these, some were rather too narrow, some only a little too narrow. If you open them up some they will get a bit wider. Pretty much luck of the draw, though. --- In MouthpieceWork@yahoogroups.com, "EgilF." <egfurre@...> wrote: > > Some Otto Link mouthpieces are narrower than the reed. I've had a few of the "vintage" metal tonemasters recently and they seemed better in this regard.
