SUBJECT: Proposed Rottweiler mouthpiece
We now believe that this model is in violation of US Patent #0123973A1
held by our good friend, Jody Espina, and we will NOT proceed with
this model in violation of his patent. It was NEVER our intent to
infringe on Jody's rights. Our design varies in several significant
areas, but we honestly believe that there is good reason to believe
that Jody owns the rights to certain aspects of this proposal, and we
will absolutely honor them.

I did not read it all and I can not see the drawings for some reason.  Maybe I
need a newer Quicktime version.  You may just need to change your dimensions a
little to be outside of the range of what is claimed.

I pulled the number off the application, so your number may be the
correct final one....I don't know.....our design is SIGNIFICANTLY
different from Jody's in several regards, BUT the window design,
although not exactly the same was very similar. Jody is a long time
friend, and we would rather keep him as our friend than sell a couple
of hundred mouthpieces. We have plenty of other designs to bring to
market.....
