If you have to make any metals clean and shine, I want to strongly
urge you to try Flitz brand polish. I have tried just about everything
out there, and believe there is nothing superior.
It comes in two forms, a liquid, and a paste. I use the paste, finding
it gets better results. Flitz also has something in it which retards
tarnishing. It's a little pricey, but the results justify the costs. I
have to polish six metal mouthpieces in a typical work day, and this
product is a real time saver that gets superior results.

I find it is also good for finishing hard rubber and plastic mouthpieces too.  Its mild abrasive is "just right" after I steel wool a mouthpiece.

In Europe, Wenol gets similar praise.  It comes in a couple of grades.  I got some a while back but I tend to stick with Flitz.

We use Flitz in our shop to polish keywork on rentals and many other tasks.
