SUBJECT: 2 questions, windows and Bergs
My first question is what does it mean to "undercut" the window? My second question is about a Berg i have. It is a 105/2 M. The sound up high is good but the mid and low range is barky and does not speak well. I am guessing this has mostly to do with the baffle. Does anyone have experience working on Bergs with some advice on how i could even out the sound throughout all registers? Maybe if i take the baffle down a bit that would help? Thanks

This html message parsed with html2text ---------------------------First, measure the facing curve. If it has uneven rails, flat spots, high
spots, etc., it's probably not responding too well.

Take a look at the Wyman paper. It is a large pdf file on the Yahoo Mouthpiece Work site.

See the dicussion around fig. 46 and fig. 60. "W:C" in fig. 46 is "undercutting".

Discussion on fig. 45 talks about lengthening the window a little.
