_____ From: STEVE GOODSON [mailto:saxgourmet@...] Sent: Friday, October 03, 2008 1:55 PM Subject: Saxophone Repair Group on Yahoo! Since 2004, I have maintained a group on Yahoo devoted strictly to saxophone repair. We currently have 525 members and lots of vigorous discussion. Many of our members are full time techs who spend all day every day fixing saxophones. Some of our members are students and players who just want to learn how to keep their personal instruments in top condition. All are welcome! To join this moderated group (no trolls need apply), simply visit http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/SaxophoneRepair/ and sign up! You can take a look at the most recent discussions and see the posting history at the bottom of the page. You can choose to receive posts in "real time" in your email, a daily digest of posts, or just read the group on the site. If you play saxophone, there's lots of knowledge here you can use. <http://www.nationofmusic.com/ecommerce/> PLEASE VISIT MY WEB SITES http://www.nationofmusic.com <http://www.nationofmusic.com/> http://www.saxnation.com/forum/ http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/SaxophoneRepair/ http://www.saxgourmet.com <http://www.saxgourmet.com/> <http://www.cafepress.com/saxgourmet> http://www.cafepress.com/saxgourmet <http://saxophonethoughts.blogspot.com/> http://saxophonethoughts.blogspot.com/ http://www.MySpace.com/saxgourmet <http://YouTube.com/results?search_query=saxgourmet steve&search_type> http://YouTube.com/results?search_query=saxgourmet steve&search_type The Music Business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. Hello Steve: (sorry by my poor english language) I am Argentine musician and repair man of saxs and clarinets in my country. I need to correct parasite sound on made in China saxophones that the students have to me. The notes are the sharp G and G# that appear to be hoarse!! One solution that i approved was retouching mouthpiece in some instance; but isn't solution for all saxs that me have. Hopeful that you be able to understood me. Fraternally yours.
