I don't think he did the facing himshelf, the link factory did a "Joe allard" model, as thex did for coleman hawkins or wolfe tayne. Joe allard is actually one of the most famous saxophone teacher in the jazz world (people like Coleman Hawkins, Dave Liebmann, etc had lessons with Joe). you can google a bit and find out about his teaching theories. I think he's the one to check out for jazz player. regards francois Le 23 janv. 08 à 10:17, joex_us a écrit : > Thanks for quick respond!!, How can I find more about him? is he a > well know re-facer? > I wil buy you a drink!! > > regards > Joe > > --- In MouthpieceWork@yahoogroups.com, derib <derib@...> wrote: > > > > Hi, > > JA mean "Joe Allard" facing. > > Regards > > > > Francois > > > > Le 23 janv. 08 à 09:56, joex_us a écrit : > > > > > Hi, > > > I have an otto link Reso Chamber clarinet mouthpiece that has the > > > initials JA stamoed on it's table. > > > Can anyone tell me what they stand for? > > > > > > Thanks > > > > > > Joe > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

it may be out of topic for this forum (sorry), because it's not supposed to be a market place, but i might be interested in that piece, as i play a reso chamber on tenor too. don't know about the price, probably a bunch of drinks... maybe on theo wanne website you'll find some value indications. if you have pics, you can send them to me directly to my email (derib at gmx.de) thanks Le 23 janv. 08 à 11:43, joex_us a écrit : > Thanks for the link, I need to sit and enjoy reading it. > I am thinking to sell this mouthpiece sinc I don't play clarinet. Sorry I didn't know about the market place. I just took some pictures from that along with 3 more mouthpieces one of them is a selmer soloist E for tenor sax, I was thinking of putting them on eBay and see what happens. Are you in Germany?
