initials JA stamoed on it's table. 
Can anyone tell me what they stand for?

I don't think he did the facing himshelf, the link factory did a "Joe  
allard" model, as thex did for coleman hawkins or wolfe tayne.
Joe allard is actually one of the most famous saxophone teacher in  
the jazz world
(people like Coleman Hawkins, Dave Liebmann, etc had lessons with Joe).
you can google a bit and find out about his teaching theories.
I think he's the one to check out for jazz player.

Coleman Hawkings, WOW!
I just had a quick search on Google before your reply and was puzzeled
to work out how did he had time to do any refacing!. I'm sure you are 
correct in saying that he did not reface the mouthpiece himself.

it may be out of topic for this forum (sorry), because it's not  
supposed to be a market place, but i might be interested in that  
piece, as i play a reso chamber on tenor too.
don't know about the price, probably a bunch of drinks... maybe on  
theo wanne website you'll find some value indications.

Sorry I didn't know about the market place. I just took some pictures 
from that along with 3 more mouthpieces one of them is a selmer 
soloist E for tenor sax, I was thinking of putting them on eBay and 
see what happens.
Are you  in Germany? I have a few friends there and have promissed 
them a visit maybe I buy your driks there!!!
