SUBJECT: Clarinet "blanks"
I'd like to obtain about 15 to 20 "identical" clarinet mouthpieces to
use as blanks for some testing I want to do. As to the exact type of
mouthpiece, I have no preferences except that (1) they should be good
quality material, (2) they should be "identical" and (3) they should
be fairly cheap. I plan to modify them in various ways and do some
testing. Any ideas?

My suggestion is the cheap Rico Royal A3 Graftonite.
The 'A' model has a low baffle and a tip opening of .045"
The only down side is the hardness of the material.
Plastic might be easier to work. Runyon 22 ?
