Hi Sam, I purchased a tenor Glodstar on ebay for less than £30.
It is a Chinese copy of a metal Selmer.
It was useless until I flattened the table etc.
If you cannot do this sort of work yourself, I may be able to help.
A better choice also from ebay was the Chinese DM Sharkbite. 
A gold plated Link style MPC at £27, which needed less remedial work.
