Hello all,

I ran across a lot of Morgan glass gauges (they're not like my kit, so
I don't know if they are prototypes or what, exactly but the
measurements are accurate) at a sale and bought them. If anyone needs
a glass gauge, I'll be glad to sell them. Please make an offer for
them. I've got 8 of them. Thanks.

Ben

Hello there!

O.k. done it.

Here is my rationale:

I divided the scale and put it more next the rails to get better
results.
I also made the scale longer for measuring the length of the opening.

And I put four vertical scales for better/easier centering of the MPC.

My first gauges are 4x12 cm, but I will reduce the width to 3 cm for
better handling.

I made the gauges from 4mm glass with laser engraving (so the scale is
exact by 0.001 mm). I also tried some acrylic materials, but they are
not stiff enough (but the engraving was better...). I am also planning
make a setting gauge for exact positioning of the tip.

Please let me know what you think about my gauge.

Regards, Gary

Did you sell the gauges?

How much for all of them?

Hi Gary, what kind of laser do you used to make the engraving on the
glass?

Hi!

Sorry, I have no idea. I know a company which is doing laser engravings. I
brought them my layout and couple of glass plates and they adjusted their
laser so that the scala is not too light and not too broad...
